Born in São Paulo in 1979, Thais Dalla Zanna — known artistically as TahisDZ — is a Brazilian visual artist whose work encompasses painting, applied art, and installation. Tahis began her artistic journey in adolescence, exploring photography and painting. Ten years later, she enrolled in a degree in Visual Arts at the State University of Londrina (Brazil) and, over the years, expanded her research through courses and encounters in São Paulo with renowned Brazilian artists and institutions, which deepened the conceptual and material dimensions of her work. Her artistic path has been shaped by a continuous investigation into memory, identity, rites of passage, and the ephemeral nature of existence.

Tahis's creative process begins with a desire to organize and re-signify fragments of matter discarded in everyday life, giving them a new life through collages of paper, fabrics, wood, and various fragments in two and three dimensions. These works are characterized by rough textures, irregular shapes, and overlapping layers of transparency.
