The series “Elements” by Tahis DZ is composed by five mini series of mixed media artworks.

 

“Elements” is about abstract nature’s landscapes, from a imaginary journey to universes, such as the sea, space and the seasons, expressed through mixed techniques, exploring textures, colours and details.

 

Influenced by the Portugal’s southwest coast, where Tahis lives since 2018, the artist brings in ‘Elements’, vibrant coloured abstract works, in a search for re-signification shapes and forms. It also contemplates her internal search for simplicity and connection with the surroundings, while still maintaining its striking characteristics, such as the use of intense colours, textures, transparency in two dimensional mixed techniques.
